Of course, stay away from miracle products and diets and ignore false myths that will only lead you to fall into an eating disorder. Ah! And don’t forget that just as important as eating well is staying well hydrated.

 

Get regular medical checkups

Health comes first, but problems don’t always show up with clear symptoms. Or if they do, we often skip going to the doctor out of laziness or because we don’t think it’s important. Big mistake. We’re not saying that you should go to the emergency room at the drop of a hat, but it’s a good idea to go to the doctor when your common sense tells you to. At least once a year it never hurts to have a general medical check-up (either at work or on your own), visit the optician or check the condition of your teeth.

It is especially important to have check-ups if you are over 50 to prevent prostate cancer, breast cancer, etcetera. In addition, if you are going to undertake a new sporting activity or have had a previous health problem in the form of an injury, it is advisable to undergo a sports medical examination beforehand.
